A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE KLAPMUTS BOWL, KANGXI SIX CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)

The bowl is decorated with a continuous scene of ladies and boys, below a diaper band with cartouches enclosing beribonned precious objects. The interior is decorated with boys at play in a fenced garden surrounded by a further diaper band with cartouches. The base has an apocryphal Kangxi mark in underglaze blue. H 7 D 15 cm.
