A Japanese black lacquered zunari-kabuto helmet

"Black lacquered zunari-kabuto helmet with extra iron pieces at the partly gilded front of the helmet and a maedate in the form of zigzag-shaped paper streamers used in Shinto rituals (shide) and a chrysanthemum. At the back of the helmet is an orange tassel. With four large neckguards (shikoro) and brown cords to fasten the helmet."
