A Chinese porcelain meiping vase, brightly painted in iron-red and green enamels with peacock birds flying amongst flower blossoming scrolls above a petal lappet border to the base. The shoulder is decorated further with a band of ruyi heads enclosing flower heads. The bottom with a Chinese six character mark within a double circle. H 31 cm.
