Lot 164 - A MONGOLIAN LACQUERED WOOD OFFERING TABEL, A POLYCHROME-DECORATED WOOD FIGURE OF A LAMA AND TWO EMBROIDERED BAGS, 19TH-20TH CENTURY

The wooden offering table stands on four ruyi-shaped legs with a removable cover. It is decorated and gilt to the sides with lotus and foliate scrolls. The polychrome-decorated wooden figure of a Lama is crafted wearing a monk's robes, a yellow hat and a shawl. He holds one hand out and one hand by his side. The statue is fixed on a bronze stand. The two embroidered bags are each embroidered with a floral design and each contains four bone astralagus.
16.5 by 32 by 19 cm.
