Prayerbook in Arabic, 118 leaves plus 12 fly-leaves, 10 lines to the page , each page with two blocks of six lines of black naskh in clouds reserved against a gold ground, the whole within illuminated floral borders, important words picked out in red, text blocks outlined in gold and polychrome, outer margins with double black rule, catchwords, occasional marginal notes, eight double-page openings with gold and polychrome floral illumination surrounding the text, and two full-page miniatures, of Mecca and Medina, in gouache heightened with gold. Original lacquer binding with floral decoration. 14.5 by 10 cm.
