Two Chinese blue and white bowls

The group comprises of a: A Chinese blue and white 'squirrels and grapes' bowl; the exterior of the bowl is decorated in shades of cobalt blue, freely painted with squirrel and grapes. The base is marked with a lingzhi mark within a double circle. (15.00 CM. diameter) A Chinese blue and white 'lotus' bowl; the bowl is decorated to the exterior with lotus blossoms supported on scrolling stems, the interior is decorated with a roundel enclosing flowers and rocks, the foliate rim is encircled by a wave band. The base with an apocryphal Kangxi mark. (20.00 CM. diameter)
