A LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'SCROLLING PEONY' CHARGER, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The dish is decorated with a central flower head and six blooms linked by dense leafy scrolls. The exterior is decorated with three flower sprays, and the base is marked with an artemisia leaf in a double circle.
Diameter: 41.5 cm.

There are two hairline cracks to the rim (approx. 7.5 cm.).
Chips to the foot and small frits and chips to the rim, some touched up.
