A CHINESE GREEN-GLAZED POTTERY STOVE WITH A DRAGON CHIMNEY

The elongated D-shaped stove stands on four cabriole feet with three cooktops, two with pans and one with a wok accompanied with a domed cover. The dragon head spout held with a pyrex attachment.

CATALOGUE NOTES
A similarly shaped stove with an undecorated chimney was excavated in Donggu River, Gaotang and resides in the collection of Shandong Provincial Museum and was featured in the China Institute Gallery exhibition, 'Providing For the Afterlife: ‘Brilliant Artifacts’ From Shandong', New York, 3 February - 4 June 2005, cat no. 25.
