The Buddhist lion ismodelled seated on its hinds haungches with its tail flicke upwards. Its head is raised and is cast with a lively expression an its mouth open. Its right front paw rests on an opernwork brocade ball modelled with the ribbons trailing on the floor and in the lion's mouth. The whorls of the fur are finely detailed.
