A CHINESE FAMILIE VERTE FOLIATE CUP AND SAUCER, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The piece cup is decorated with scrolling flowers above a lappet band, the interior is decorated with a flower spray. The saucer is decorated with a central roundel enclosing flowers, rocks and a bee in flight, all surrounded by a band of further scrolling flowers. The bases with a yu (jade) mark in underglaze blue. 12.8 cm. diam.
