The strongly potted jar is decorated with the Eight Immortals each with their respective attributes on tumultuous waves, all between a band of petal lappets below and tassels shoulder above, the neck encircled with precious objects, all executed in slip and glazed in turquoise, yellowish-amber and mauve on a deep purplish-blue ground. 43 cm. height, 22 cm diam.
